This guitar is playable Art, a treasured 1-of-a-kind instrument. The Archangel guitar is one of the rarest pieces of highly figured flamed Koa in the world. Starts with a 13-piece body (top, back, and headstock) of exceptional Koa, Figured Maple, and Purpleheart. Adds a 13-piece neck of 300+ year-old aged Mahogany, Purple Heart, and Maple. The Exquisite Cocobolo fretboard has over 400 individually cut and inlayed pieces of Mother-of-Pearl, Golden Pearl, Sterling Silver, and Stone . It just takes your breath away to view the grain and figuring in the wood, it’s hands down the nicest selection of woods I’ve received on any solid-body guitar - period. The pick-ups are Gold-plated Duncan SH1-59 in the neck and SH-5 Duncan Customs in the bridge position covered in Cocobolo pickup rings with a 5-way blade selector. For the ultimate in sonic versatility, this instrument also includes the L.R. Baggs Stereo Acoustic Saddle with 6 individual pickups in the bridge. Knobs are Burled maple and Koa with Gold Abalone inlays. Tuning keys are Black and Gold USA Sperzels. This guitar is a joy to play, one of my favorite playing and sounding guitars. The 24 fret fingerboard is fast and intonation is spot on. The pickups are bold and bright with all of the harmonics tight. The LR Baggs blended with the Duncans gives you sounds you just can’t get out of any other guitar. Comes with Warrior Leather Art Case and Case Cover.
