This Orca ‘59 has a special exceptional Eastern Michigan Curly Maple top with a figured mahogany body and neck built in the same thickness as a ‘59 historic. It has a very dark Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, with curly maple binding, and a Bursted Maple headstock that matches the body for an elegant look. The inlays are Mother-of-Pearl (MoP) crown trapeze inlays. Hardware includes Schaller M6-mini tuners with Ebony buttons, an aged milled brass ABR-1 style bridge and aged aluminum tailpiece and a set of ‘59 Harry Haussel humbucking pickups. Trim parts include Ebony PU rings and toggle tip with Ebony knobs. The nitro finish is a double stained satin Charcoal burst that exposes the exquisite maple flame underneath.
This guitar looks, plays, and sounds killer…
