The Knaggs Choptank is a single cutaway, “Tele style” six on a side, set neck long scale guitar. The Choptank can be purchased in one of three finish levels. This Tier 2 “Golden Natural” finished guitar is very rare - one of only two built for Artistic Guitars with a figured mahogany lamination layer. It has an alder body covered with carved curly maple and a Mahogany lamination layer. The figure of the neck, fingerboard, and headstock is superb. Gold hardware and a distinctive ebony pickguard give the Choptank a classy look. Serial #13 has a maple fingerboard, is inlayed with black diamond patterns. 3 Seymore Duncan single coil pickups give a very nice sweet Tele twang sound.
