The Severn is a double cutaway, “Strat style” six on a side, long scale guitar. The Severn can be purchased in one of three finish levels. Severn #25 is a Tier 1 instrument with Joe’s finest hand-selected tonewoods and will be finished in Aged Scotch. It has an exceptionally fine Curly Maple Edge on a highly figured and very rare flamed mahogany lamination layer. The figure of the alder body backside is luscious. Gold hardware and a distinctive ebony pickguard give this Trem-based Severn a classy look. This instrument also has a figured Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and headstock and is inlayed with gold-outlined green snail diamonds with a 12th fret boat. 3 Fralin Blues special pickups give that ‘61 strat”special sound.
