The Knaggs Severn is a double cutaway, “Strat style” six on a side, set neck long scale guitar. This tier 2 Faded Onyx finished guitar has an alder body covered with a carved curly maple top with the lamination layer exposing Killer maple. Gold hardware and a distinctive maple figured pickguard give this tremolo-based Severn a classy look. The figured Cocobolo rosewood fingerboard is inlayed with diamond inlays. This is a very resonant and special guitar made for NAMM 2011, and signed by Joe Knaggs on the back of the headstock. 3 Seymour Duncan SSL pickups best that ‘61 strat”special sound. With the 5-way switch, the 2nd and 4th positions produce amazing bell-like tone-to-the-bone that truly will inspire and elevate your play. Joe’s bridge architecture allows incredible sustain.
