This beautiful Knaggs Keya Tier 1, Serial #60, was designed and hand crafted by Joe Knaggs and team for an Artist who chose a different style instrument. It is finished in Ocean Blue, the 2nd made. It has an "incredible big leaf" West Coast quilted maple top over a South American mahogany body. This instrument features the new B/W/B over Maple body binding. The figured Mahogany neck has a Custom '85 carve similar to the early PRS instruments. The Ebony fingerboard has a 12" radius . The Pearlworks inlayed Sea shell design is unique and made with Koa, and the color just jumps off of the board. The Headstock is a very nicely colored Ebony a Koa/Ecru Sea Horse. Rounding out the specs is a vintage bone nut and gold / Engraved Waverly open back tuning pegs. The bridge is Joe's exceptional one-piece tune-a-matic. The Pickups are Fralin Pure PAF's. This is a special instrument.
