This NAMM 2020 Orca ‘59 has a special exceptional Quilted Maple top with a Spanish Cedar body and figured mahogany neck built in the same thickness as a ‘59 historic. It has a very nice Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, with curly maple binding, and a Quilted Maple headstock that matches the body for an elegant look. The inlays are Torquoise crown trapeze inlays with sterling silver rings. Hardware includes Schaller M6-mini tuners with Rosewood buttons, an aged milled brass ABR-1 style bridge and aged aluminum tailpiece and a set of ‘59 Harry Haussel humbucking pickups. Trim parts include Brazilian Rosewood PU rings and toggle tip with Rosewood knobs. The back plates are of Brazilian Rosewood. The nitro finish top and headstock is a double stained Turquoise Blue, with a bursted blue back.
