The workmaship is exquisite and Flying Dolphin #24 is one of the most interesting and incredible instruments in the market. It is a double stained Dark Red Dolphin II with an exceptional 1-piece quilted maple top . It has a magnificent flamed Mahogany body with exquisite maple topside body purfling. The Flying Dolphin includes an 85 piece Handcut Multi-Inlay made of Abalone, Black Pearl, Mother of Pearl, and Sterling Silver on the top of the body. Body inlays are very unique, and very difficult to build. Flying #24 also has a Brazilian Rosewood package consisting of a 3-piece Brazilian Rosewood Neck, Fingerboard, and outstanding backside cover plate with Brazilian Rosewood tuning keys, control knobs with Brazilian and abalone inlays, and a 5-way blade. The neck is very nice. It has great feel with a thickness similar to a nice early 60’s strat. The 25.5" scale helps with sustain and playability. It has 3 Haussel Humbucking single coil pick-ups. #24 is a stop tail guitar. Additionally, Flying Dolphin #24 has gold hardware.
