This Orca ‘59 is one of my favorites ever received from Nik. It has a special exceptional quilted Maple top with a figured Spanish Cedar body and Brazilian Rosewood neck built in tapered thickness as a ‘59 historic with a “Gibson-like” 24.75” scale. It has a very dark Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, with curly maple binding, and a body matching headstock that matches the body for an elegant look. The inlays are Mother-of-Pearl (MoP) crown trapeze inlays. Hardware includes a John Mann Tremolo, Schaller M6-mini tuners with Brazilian Rosewood buttons, gold HW, and a set of ‘59 Harry Haussel humbucking pickups (Bridge position - Custom +, Neck position Std 1959). Trim parts include Brazilian Rosewood PU rings, toggle tip, knobs, and tuner buttons. The nitro finish is a double stained custom Blue that exposes the exquisite maple quilt underneath.
This guitar looks, plays, and sounds killer…
