This tiger eye burst Singlecut Trem - 10th Anniversary Private Stock guitar was designed and handmade by Joseph Knaggs, Paul, and team, dated Oct 18, 2006. The woods include a quilted maple top, South American mahogany back, as well as a Brazilian rosewood neck, bound fingerboard, headstock veneer and truss rod cover. This Private Stock guitar beautifully displays various custom inlays that depict the last 10 years as well as combining different private stock options. Other features include paua side dots, custom engraved pickup covers, rosewood tuning buttons, pickup rings, and toggle tip as well as green ripple abalone, black and ivoroid binding along the fingerboard, headstock veneer and top contour of the body. Inlays include black and brown lip mother of pearl, white and gold mother of pearl, paua, abalone, green snail, orange Madre per Lato, 14 karat gold, red coral, and Koa wood. Pickups are PRS 9 with Single cut with 3-way toggle electronics. This incredibly rare and special guitar is part of the run commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the Private Stock program. The rare solid Brazilian rosewood neck has a wide fat carve with incredible feel, and the PRS 9’s just sing beautifully. PRS had originally intended to limit to 100 instruments, but produced about 60. With faultless materials and the workmanship of Joseph Knaggs’ team, the sound and playability, this is one of my favorite solid-body guitars..
